Ok so its been a week or two since my last blog its time to update and motivate myself.
A week ago I went to moms to do laundry and pick up orders for C16. I sat down with mom and started to ask her and help her with what she wanted to order. She has two fav. perfumes and a colon she loves for dad. By the time we were done she ordered $67 worth of stuff. The young aunt order some shoes. Add another $25 to the bucket. I was starting to feel really good about my orders. I made some signs for the car that says who's your Avon lady with some lips and my contact info. The sign for my back window, which is not the most visable thing so I will be re-doing that one. I later made one for my front door that said Avon sold here. My help, the cousins girl friend add to her order and told me the Avon at her job was selling good. I was getting a really good feeling about eveything and started to get my hopes up. Bad idea on my part high hopes are good but not always good.
Friday I start to pick up orders from the vet, landlord and newspaper. Boy was that a joke the vet is to busy to look at stuff, landlord had lost the book and the newspaper no one was intrested. I was feeling pretty down on the how much I had sold I thought I done for on orders this time.
Today I though I will run the c17 books to the offices that I had been at with c16. When I stopped by the landlords to give her a book I took a c16 book with me she said yeah I looked at the one at the skating rink on saturday and was going to call you I am happy you came in. That was another $25. So my hopes got a little better.
After that order I started to get my ideas back again no more mental block. My idea is I am going to order some hand cream for the vets office. I plan to put a sticker on there with something about it being from your avon lady.
We had a avon meeting for our town reps tonight. I was the only one other than the DM and her helper. I won an umberal and the door price which was samples a full size bottle of Imari Seduction. Not to sure if I like it yet or not but I do like the new ungaro thats coming out have to buy some of the mens for the hubby for xmas.
But off to start makeing some more plans for c17

Sunday
Well I said I was going to rest my brain today but that has not happened. I just got another order for c16 and had to add that. Had some questions so I asked one on the forums and one to my unit leader. I am more than likely driving her crazy but shes great. I found a yahoo group today that had tons of files and templates for me to look at so i spent the day looking at that.
But thats about all for today. Maybe tomorrow I will have lots of orders my mother-in-law just got back from camping and she has not told me how many orders she got from the rest of the family. I will keep you all posted :)

Something New
Well, this is not my first blog but I hope to keep at this one longer than the last one lol. Anyway I have became an Independent Avon Representative while I am looking for a new job. On Thursday I meet with my Unit Leader. I was very excited I had been on the website the whole week learning and becoming an erep. So meeting her and getting all my stuff was icing on the cake per-say.
Before I decided to Avon I looked at all my opinions and learned about all the other direct sell companies. Avon looked the best and as I talked to people they would say as soon as you get books let me know cause I will order from you. I even had one lady at my husbands works switch from the woman that sold it at his work to me.
Thursday after I meet with my Unit Leader Tammy. I started the great search for customers. I had made up my mind on a few places I knew I wanted to drop books off at. There is a new vets office here in town that I talk my puppy to, the people I rent my apartment from, and the newspaper I use to work at. I offered the girl that runs the front desk at the newspaper a 10% discount on her personal order if she would gather orders and email them to me before the end of the campaign. She was really excited about that. When I stopped at the real estate office that rents our apartment I was just going to leave one book cause I only have 10 and on my way out someone asked me for a book. I was getting really excited about how things were going so far. I also found a deal on an item that the woman that works with my husband really likes. Man she was excited and said she would be email me her order before the end of the weekend.
Thursday evening my cousin's girl friend was looking though the book and she placed my first order. She ordered some really good stuff, she also told me that she had talked to the people at her work and some of her family about me selling avon and told me she would take orders, pick up money and deliver to those people. I found my secon helper I offered her the 10% off or her pick out of the demo book of any items I was not getting, her discount will take place after the first set of orders that way she can get just as motivated to sell as me, maybe she will be come my first downline. I was really excited. My sister in Utah also ordered my first online order. My sisters online order alone just paid for my erep fee YEAH!! DEE!! thank you. My sister also said she would talk to the people in her office cause they don't have a rep anymore. I will be revisiting the vets office and the real estate place next week to pick up orders.
Friday I did some motvational reading to keep me up on this. I know rome was not built in a day and neither is an Avon Empire so I just did things to keep me going on Friday. I also started to think about home partys. My middle sister-in-law sells for another compainy that does home partys. We have talked about doing a combind party or promoting one another with in a party. She had found some ideas on doing an online party. Save everyone on gas and such. Its a great idea and I thought it would also work for an Avon party cause you can take avon orders and also direct them to my erep site for more info. I also had a brain storm late last night for her they were doing a yard sale this weekend. I told her to set up a table with all her start kit stuff ( they get a bunch of items to show in thier starter kit) with a sign that says these items are not for sale but ask me how you can get them for free. She told me today that she had lots look and one person take a book and talk about hosting a party. GO HER!!! The two of us have became each others leaning post. We bounce ideas off of one another and share different Ideas that we are doing.
Today I became an Beauty Advisor though the online training coruses. I was very happy about that. It puts me one step closer to getting to where I want to be.
Tonight we are having a siblings cook out. The inlaws are all on a camping trip and all the hubbys brothers (there are 3 boys total in his family counting him) and thier wifes are going to raid the mother-in-laws frezzer and fridge and make some dinner for the 6 of us. I am going to give my oldest sister-in-law a book to take to her mom and her family. Her mom use to sell Avon and I was told that old Avon reps make the best customers. No one in my oldests sister-in-laws family sells Avon anymore so it will make it easy for me to get a bunch of new customers with them tonight.
Tomorrow is Sunday there for I will rest my Avon mind and start fresh on Monday. I am thinking about making a sign to hang in my back bed room window that says Avon sold here with my Apt number on it and even my erep site and maybe phone number. We dont live on a busy street but the back bedroom window faces the road I do live on so maybe to pull a few from the neighborhood in for some sales. My main worry is that we are an upstairs apartment and the sign might be to high for people to really see. I thought maybe some bright orange poster board and a big thick sharpie would do the trick though.
